Box Score MADISON, NJ - Trailing 7-3 halfway through the third quarter, the College at Florham Devils cut their deficit to 8-7 with 9:45 left in the fourth quarter but they couldn't get over the hump and were defeated by Eastern Connecticut State by a score of 10-7 in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 2-7 while the Warriors improved to 2-5.
FDU got off to a great start, scoring the first two goals of the game as junior midfielder

Michael Rosellini, respectively. The Warriors came right back though, scoring the next three goals to take a 3-2 lead with 13:21 left in the second quarter. Weiss tied the game at 3-3 when he fired in a pass from sophomore attack
Frank Reda on the man-down unit with 2:29 to go. ECSU scored the final two goals of the half however, to take a 5-3 advantage into intermission.
The Warriors then scored the first two goals of the third quarter to take a 7-3 lead but that's when the Devils started their rally. Senior attack
Cody McHugh made it 7-4 on a man-up goal before Minnich converted a pass from Weiss to make it 7-5 with 5:14 left in the third. Reda cut it to 7-6 with 0:59 to but the Warriors got that one back to take an 8-6 lead with 10:47 remaining in the fourth. Minnich once again banged home a pass from Weiss to cut the deficit to one, 8-7, with 9:45 to play but the Warriors scored the final two goals of the game to secure the 10-7 victory.
Weiss finished the game with two goals and two assists while Minnich added two goals and an assist. Reda tallied a goal and an assist, Rosellini went 8-of-11 on faceoffs to go along with four ground balls and his assist, and sophomore defender
Haddon Corbett caused four turnovers. Freshman goalkeeper
Tim Zangara was stellar in goal despite the defeat, making 10 saves.
The Devils return to action on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Scranton beginning at 7 pm.
