Turning Point of the Game:
The Devils misfortune at the start of the second half provided the Monarchs with an insurmountable lead. Monarchs junior defensive lineman Peter Santorelli forced a Devil fumble on the second play of the quarter, which led to a 35-yard Hartranft touchdown strike.
On FDU's next possession Santorelli forced another fumble, which was scooped up by Ron Garrett and returned for a 22-yard King's touchdown.
Trailing 38-0, a hopeful Devil drive was thwarted when King's safety Anthony Martuccio intercepted a Santos pass and took it to the house, capping a 21-point 2:28 barrage.
