Box Score PURCHASE, NY - The College at Florham Devils shot 11-for-54 from the field (20.4%) and 16-of-30 from the free throw line (53.3%) in a 59-39 loss to Manhattanville in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday evening.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 9-11 (4-5 Freedom) while the Valiants improved to 10-10 (4-5 Freedom).
FDU got off to exactly the start the were looking for, opening up a 10-2 lead with 14:03 left in the first half. From the point on though, Manhattanville went on a 20-2 run to grab a 22-12 halftime advantage.
The Valiants started the second half like they ended the first, reeling off a 24-12 run to grab a 46-24 advantage with 7:52 left in the contest. FDU trimmed their deficit to 14 points on two occasions, 46-32 with 5:30 left and 52-38 with 2:39 to go, but that was as close as they would get as Manhattanville picked up the win.

Adam Katz also had 12 points.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at home for Alumni Day against King's beginning at 3 pm.
