MADISON, NJ - Senior attack
Drew Canfield scored four goals to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 5-4 win over Lebanon Valley in Middle Atlantic Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Devils snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 5-5 (3-3 MAC) while the Dutchmen dropped to 4-7 (2-4 MAC).
The Devils got exactly the start they were looking for, as they scored two goals in the first 2:03 of the game thanks to Canfield and freshman midfielder
Jake Higgins. The Dutchmen came right back though, with a goal in the first quarter and two in the second quarter to grab a 3-2 halftime advantage.
FDU tied it at 3-3 with 7:41 left in the third quarter when Canfield converted a pass from junior midfielder
Paul Colflesh. LVC responded quickly however, scoring just 0:28 later to grab a 4-3 lead. It remained 4-3 heading into the fourth quarter when Canfield tied it at 4-4 with 11:16 left. Canfield then notched the game-winner, off a pass from Colflesh, with 5:52 to go. The Dutchmen had the ball with a minute left in regulation but the FDU defense stood tall to earn the victory.

Billy Deignan controlled the face-offs, winning 8-of-13.
The Devils return to action on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at home against Manhattanville beginning at 7 pm.
