MADISON, NJ - Cabrini scored five second quarter goals to turn a 2-1 advantage after the first quarter into a 7-2 halftime lead on their way to an 11-6 victory over the College at Florham Devils in non-conference action on Saturday.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 2-2 while the Cavaliers improved to 3-3.
Cabrini jumped out to a 2-1 lead after one quarter of play with the FDU goal coming from sophomore midfielder

Cody McHugh cut the Cabrini lead to 3-2 with 7:44 left in the second quarter, the Cavaliers exploded for four straight goals to grab a 7-2 halftime lead.
The Devils scored the lone goal of the third quarter as freshman midfielder
Jake Higgins found the back of the net. FDU notched the first goal of the first quarter to make it 7-4 as junior attack
Pat O'Brien scored off a pass from senior attack
Drew Canfield. Cabrini made it 8-4 with 13:45 to go in the game but O'Brien scored off a feed from McHugh to cut the deficit to 8-5 with 12:41 remaining. Cabrini responded again with a goal to make it 9-5 but Canfield scored to pull the Devils to 9-6 with 5:25 to go. That was as close as FDU would get though, as Cabrini scored two insurance goals in the final minutes to earn the 11-6 victory.
O'Brien finished the game with two goals while junior attack
Adam Koontz had two assists. Canfield and McHugh each had a goal and an assist. Freshman goalkeeper
Dino Vitale suffered the loss, making 14 saves.
The Devils return to action on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, with their Middle Atlantic Conference opener at King's beginning at 4 pm.
