NEW YORK, NY - The College at Florham Devils women's swim team picked up their first win of the season on Saturday afternoon, a 56-39 triumph over Hunter.

With the win, the Devils improved to 1-2.

Junior Melanie Allen (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) won the 50 free in a time of 28.29 and the 100 fly in a time of 1:08.65.  Sophomore Wendy Ferriero (Denville, NJ/Morris Knolls) took the 200 free (2:11.52) and the 100 back (1:12.41), sophomore Caroline Malia (Dover, NH/Dover) won the 1,000 free (13:50.93), sophomore Luci DiMaggio (Allenhurst, NJ/Ocean) took the 100 free (1:03.41), and junior Elisabeth Hilzen (Glen Rock, NJ/Glen Rock) won the 100 breast (1:19.30).

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Arcadia beginning at 6 pm.
