Madison, NJ (July 14)- Throughout the next weeks, we will be taking a look back and ranking our top 10 moments of the 2024-25 season. There were a ton of great games and performances from this past calendar year, and we are excited to look back and recap some of these moments with our fans!
Making our top 10 list at #4: Women's Swimming Relay Team See Success at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, Earning a Top 4 Finish
The Women's Swimming relay team, made up of Magda Konopka (Paramus, NJ), Katelyn Plank (Bridgewater, N.J.), Lauren Stone (Middletown, NJ), and Julianna Fazzio (Glassboro, NJ), found major success during the 205 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, which took place from February 13 through the 16. The team earned a 4th place finish on Day 2 of the competition after coming off a 5th place finish on Day 1.
DAY 1:
York, PA (February 13) – On Day 1 of the MAC Championships, the FDU-Florham Women's Swimming team totaled 154 points, placing them in 5th out of 10 teams, with one Devil coming in one placement of a medal.
Magda Konopka (Paramus, NJ), Katelyn Plank (Bridgewater, N.J.), Lauren Stone (Middletown, NJ), and Fazzio stood on the podium for 5th with a time of 1:53.14 for the 200 free relay.
DAY 2:
York, PA (February 14) – In Day 3 of the MAC Championships, the FDU-Florham Women's Swimming Team stood on the podium in three events and even saw a broken record in 100 fly. Together, they completed the day with 343 total points to sit in 7th place.
The first team to find success was made up of Magda Konopka (Paramus, NJ), Katelyn Plank (Bridgewater, N.J.), Lauren Stone (Middletown, NJ), and Fazzio as they captured the second podium showing of the day with a time of 1:39.85 for 4th place in the 200 free relay.
