Reading, PA (February 28)- The FDU-Florham Men's Track & Field team traveled back to the PLEX, home of the Alvernia Golden Wolves, for the first day of the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.
FDU-Florham saw Devils partake in three events on day one including the 60-meter dash, the 4000 Distance Medley Relay, and the 4x200 relay.
Representing the Devils in the 60m prelims were
Nashawn Presley (Irvington, NJ) and
Nathaniel Evely (Bogota, NJ). Both unfortunately did not meet the mark to move on to the finals, as Presley came in 16
th with a time of 7.19 and Evely finished for a stoppage of 7.27.
FDU-Florham was next a part of 4000m Distance Medley Relay, as they formed a team consisting of
Emmanuel Torode (Roxbury, NJ),
Nathaniel Perrelli (Fanwood, NJ),
Luke Passarelli (Brick, NJ), and
Evan McGinnity. The quartet saw a finish of 13
th overall for a combined time of 11:37. 83 and a new program record.
The final event of the day was the 4x200 Relay, which resulted in a 12th-place finish (1:36.00) with
Lucas Sorrentino (Staten Island, NY), Perreli, Presley, and Evely.
FDU-Florham will be back on the track and field for day two of the 2025 MAC Indoor Championships on Saturday, March 1
st. The Devils will look towards a 10am start as the 200m, Shot Put, and 4x400m are still to take place.
