MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham swim team competed in the first day of the Ranger Invitational hosted by Drew university on Friday.
Devils Highlights
- In the first session of the day, senior Magda Konopka finished second in the 50-yard freestyle event with a final time of 24.88. Following her performance, sophomore Olivia Glenfield placed third in the 200-yard IM event with a final time of 2:23.73. Rounding out the session, senior Michael Bang finished sixth in the 50-yard freestyle event with a final time of 22.34.
- For the second session of the day, senior Katelyn Plank took home first place in the 200-yard freestyle event with a winning time of 1:59.26. Following her success, the women's 200-yard freestyle relay team, comprised of Konopka and Plank as well as sophomore Lauren Stone and first year Jillian Rhyshek, finished second in their event with a final time of 1:43.66. Finishing up the day, Glenfield landed another podium finish, placing second in the 400-yard IM with a final time of 4:59.63.
How it Happened
- The women's side finished the day with a score of 91.
- The men's team finished the day with a score of 25.50.
