ANNVILLE, Pa. – The FDU-Florham swim team traveled out to Lebanon Valley College for a MAC Freedom matchup on Saturday afternoon.
Devils Highlights
- The women's 200-meter medley relay team, comprised of seniors Magda Konopka and Lauren Stone, sophomore Olivia Case and first year Jillian Rhyshek, won their opening event. The relay team finished with a final time of 2:13.11, 12 seconds faster than the second-place team. Also, the men's 200-meter medley team, comprised of seniors Michael Bang, Edward Danza, Jackson Standrdge, and AJ Vicidomini, won their opening event. Their team finished with final time of 2:13.04, 43 seconds faster than the second-place team.
- Magda Konopka, Jillian Rhyshek, and Katelyn Plank all won two individual events for their team. Konopka finished the 100-meter free with a final time of 1:04.17 and the 100-meter breast with a final time of 1:23.12. Rhyshek finished the 800-meter free with a final time of 10:12.30, 46 seconds faster than any other opponent, while also finishing the 400-meter free with a final time of 4:58.50. Finally, Plank finished the 100-meter fly with a final time of 1:10.34 and the 100-meter back with a final time of 1:13.30.
- On the men's side, Michael Bang and Jackson Standridge each won two individual events. Bang finished the 50-meter free with a time of 24.85, while also finishing the 100-meter back with a final time of 1:09.83, 24 seconds faster than second-place. Standridge finished the 100-meter fly with a final time of 1.14.93 and finished the 100-meter breast with a final time of 1:19.18.
How it Happened
- The women's side finished with a strong win after tallying a final score of 151.
- The men's team fell to Lebanon Valley, with a solid final score of 71.
