DANBURY, Conn. – FDU-Florham men's soccer standouts
Diego Trujillo and
Genti Dauti were named All-ECAC First Team by the Eastern College Athletic Conference, the organization announced Thursday as it released its 2025 Division III Men's Soccer All-ECAC Teams and major awards.
This is the first time in his career that Trujillo, a Bridgewater, N.J. native was named All-ECAC First Team as he was named All-ECAC Second Team in 2023. This comes off the heels of being named a United Soccer Coaches Division III Men's Soccer All-Region First Team member and All-MAC Freedom First Team earlier this awards season. After missing the entire 2024 season due to injury, the senior captain played in19 matches for the Devils and was second in the MAC Freedom in goals scored with 16 and total points with 39. He was second in assists with seven and led the conference in game-winning goals with five. Trujillo tallied four multi-goal matches, including a hat trick in a 5-1 win over CCNY on Sept. 3. He finished the season scoring at least one goal in six of his final seven matches played.
Dauti, a Lincoln Park, N.J. native also earned All-ECAC First Team honors. Like Trujilo, the junior midfielder was named to the United Soccer Coaches Division III Men's All-Region First Team for the second time in his career and was an All-MAC Freedom First Team selection. He started all 20 matches for the Devils and led FDU in assists with 11. Dauti was second in the conference in shots (95) and shots on goal (41). He tallied seven goals on the year and finished fifth overall in points with 24.
FDU was one of three schools to have two players named First Team joining SUNY Brockport and Virginia Wesleyan.
