Men's Soccer Earns Three MAC Freedom All-Conference Honorees

NEWTOWN, Pa. – The FDU-Florham men's soccer team earned three MAC Freedom All-Conference awards honorees this season as midfielders Diego Trujillo and Genti Dauti were named First Team while defender Jake Nagle was named Second Team, the conference office announced Wednesday morning.

Trujillo, a senior from Bridgewater, N.J. earned MAC Freedom First Team honors for the second time in his career and first since the 2023 season. After missing the entire 2024 season due to injury, the senior captain played all 19 matches for the Devils and was second in the MAC Freedom in goals scored with 16 and total points with 39. He was second in assists with seven and led the conference in game-winning goals with five. Trujillo tallied four multi-goal matches, including a hat trick in a 5-1 win over CCNY on Sept. 3. He finished the season scoring at least one goal in six of FDU's final seven matches.

Dauti, a junior from Lincoln Park, N.J. earned MAC Freedom First Team honors for the second year in a row. He started all 19 matches for the Devils and led both FDU and the MAC Freedom in assists with 10. Dauti was second in the conference in shots (87) and shots on goal (37). He tallied five goals on the year and finished seventh overall in points with 20.

Nagle, a senior from Toms River, N.J. earns his first-career MAC Freedom award. Like Trujillo and Dauti, Nagle started all 19 matches for the Devils. He played all 90 minutes in 17 of FDU's 19 matches and was a key factor in all five of the Devils' shutouts in 2025.

This is the sixth straight season the Devils men's soccer program has boasted multiple all-conference honorees and the first since 2023 with three all-conference selections.

FDU finished the regular season with an 11-3-5 record and was the No. 3 seed in the MAC Freedom Championship.

The Devils look ahead to the 2025 ECAC DIII Men's Soccer Championship as FDU is set to host a quarterfinal match on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. FDU will face the winner of the First Round match between SUNY Maritime and William Paterson.
