MADISON, N.J. – The FDU swim team finished their home stand with a meet against Widener University on Friday afternoon.
Devils Highlights
- To open the meet, the women's 200-yard medley relay team, consisting of seniors Magda Konopka and Lauren Stone, sophomore Olivia Case and first year Jillian Rhyshek, finished first place with a time of 1:55.90. To close out the meet, the women's 200-yard freestyle relay team made up of seniors Katelyn Plank and Jessica Mooney and sophomores Caitlyn Kramaritsch and Olivia Glenfield also finished first, just edging out Widener's team by one second and finishing with a time of 1:46.27.
- For individual performances, Magda Konopka and Jillian Rhyshek led both teams with three first place finishes each, with wins in the 100-yard backstroke, 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard butterfly, 50-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke, and 100-yard IM events. Following close behind, Olivia Glenfield and Katelyn Plank both finished their days with two first place placements, winning the 1000-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard breaststroke, and 100-yard butterfly events.
- Seniors Michael Bang and Jessica Mooney also brought home wins for the Devils, winning the 500-yard freestyle and 100 Yard IM events.
How it Happened
- The women's side took a commanding win over Widener, finishing with a total score of 164.
- The men's team fell to Widener, with a final score of 53.

The Devils will travel out to MAC Freedom rivals Lebanon Valley College for a meet on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m.
