NEWTOWN, Pa. – FDU-Florham junior goalkeeper Adrianna Goodwin was named the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week along with senior forward Julianna Medina being named MAC Freedom Offensive player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 5 the conference office announced Tuesday morning.  
 
Goodwin totaled 15 saves while posting a 2-0 record on the week. She opened with an eight-save shutout win against Gwynedd Mercy, which was her fourth shutout win of the season. She followed that with seven stops in a 4-1 win over Neumann. 

Medina netted four goals in two games, scoring once in a 2-0 win against Gwynedd before recording her second hat trick of the season in a 4-1 victory against Neumann. She finished the week with six points, bringing her season total to eight goals and 18 points. 

The FDU field hockey team returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 8 as the Devils host Lancaster Bible College on Robert T. Shields Field. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
