New Orleans, La. (May 20)- FDU-Florham track and field student-athletes Ibrahim Fall (Boonton, N.J.) and Maya Laterza (Whippany, N.J.) both earned United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Metro Region Honors for their performances this season in the field this season.
 
Fall earns his third All-Region honor in his career (one indoor, two outdoor) while Laterza earned her first All-Region recognition.
 
Fall was recognized in the Metro Region this outdoor season in the long jump where he jumped a season-long 7.05m (23' 1.75") mark at the Coach Pollard Invite on April 19 which finished third in the region. He also placed second at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships this year to earn his fifth conference medal with a mark of 6.71m (22' 0.75").
 
Laterza earned her spot on the All-Metro Region team in the javelin this season.  Her mark of 36.87m (120' 11") that placed fifth best in the Metro Region this season.
 
The Devils wrapped up the outdoor season after the ECAC Championships on May 10.
