Chester, PA (November 16) – The FDU-Florham men's swimming team surrendered their first loss to Widener with a 153-33 score in the Pride's pool.

AJ Vicidomini (Howell, N.J.) touched the wall in the 1000 free with a time of 11:08.15, but unfortunately took second in the head-to-head event. The Junior was also seen in the 200 fly and finished fourth for a 2:17.56 finish.

Michael Bang (Roxbury, N.J.) saw a first-place finish in the 100 free after finishing three seconds ahead of his opponents (49.59). Bang swam in the 200 breaststroke and was the first devil to finish, but claimed third overall (2:30.41).

Jackson Standridge (Warren, NJ) was the only Devil to compete in the 200 IM as he finished with a time of 2:24.14 fourth place and also took fourth in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:34.50.  

Edward Danza (Jackson, NJ) fell to fourth place in the 50 free after touching the wall for a time of 26.87 and saw a fifth-place finish in the 200 fly with a time of 2:43.00.

First-year Davide Mezzoli (Pompton Lakes, NJ) saw a time of 2:08.63 for a second-place finish In the 200 breaststroke. A time of 1:59.81 was seen in the 200 free for the first year and it was good enough for a placement of fifth.

The Devils also fielded a 200-free relay team consisting of Mezzoli, Bang, Danza, and Standridge. The quartet finished first with a total time of 1:49.40 but it was not enough to beat Widener's two teams.  

FDU-Florham will travel down the street for their next meet as they are set to compete in the Ranger Invitational hosted by Drew on Friday and Saturday, December 6 and 7.
