Wayne, N.J. (December 9) – The FDU-Florham men's swimming team (2-3) fell during their dual meet at William Paterson (8-2), 111-69 on Saturday afternoon.
AJ Vicidomini (Howell, N.J.) collected two first-place finishes during the meet. In the 1000 free, he shaved about 12 seconds off his previous swim earlier in the year against Western Connecticut (10:56.77) when he clocked a 10:42.94. He also led the field in the 100 fly with a time of 58.96.
James Dougherty (Kinnelon, N.J.) also notched a pair of first place finishes when he touched the wall first in the 50 free (23.29) and the 100 free (50.62).
Michael Bang (Roxbury, N.J.) individually placed first in the 500 free during the meet with 5:08.68 during the 500 free while
Jackson Standridge (Warren, NJ) also won an event when he beat the field in the 100 breast with a time of 1:09.61.
The four swimmers only teamed up for one relay this meet but outraced the Pioneer team in the 200 free relay when they combined for a final time of 1:38.27.
FDU-Florham has a lengthy break between action and will return to the pool when they host fellow MAC school Arcadia for a dual meet on Friday, January 12 with the first event scheduled for 1:00 pm.
