Madison, N.J. (November 12) – The FDU-Florham men's swimming team (2-2) paced fellow MAC school Lebanon Valley, 77-52 for their first dual meet win of the season.
AJ Vicidomini (Howell, N.J.) and
James Dougherty (Kinnelon, N.J.) each came away with a pair of first place finishes. Vicidomini touched the wall first in the 100 fly (59.29) and the 200 free while Dougherty placed first in the 50 free (22.80) and the 100 free (54.82).
Michael Bang (Roxbury, N.J.) took a first-place finish victory in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.59 and also swam the lone 500 free time of the meet and clocked a time of 5:12.58.
Jackson Standridge (Warren, NJ) notched a first-place finish in the 100 breast with a time of 1:10.63 and placed third in the 100 fly with a time of 1:04.83
The Devils also fielded a 200 free relay team consisting of Dougherty, Bang, Vicidomini, and Standridge. The quartet finished first with a total time of 1:40.06 that scored nine points as the lone team in the event.
FDU-Florham will be in action next weekend as the team heads down to Owings Mills, Md. to compete in a tri-meet against Gallaudet and host Stevenson.
