Annville, Pa. (January 23) – The FDU-Florham men's swimming team closed its 2021-22 regular season this afternoon at Lebanon Valley College. The Dutchmen were victorious over the Devils by a score of 124-61. Note that all times and results from this meet were recorded in short course meters, not short course yards.
James Dougherty (Kinnelon, NJ) posted wins in two events including the 100-breast (1:10.74) and the 200-IM (2:20.62), whiles
James Butcher (West Orange, NJ) placed first in the 400-free (5:26.81) and second in the 800-free (11:14.68).
Jack Hulsart (Old Bridge, NJ) individually won the 200-free in 2:18.38 and touched the wall second in the 100-fly in 2:18.38.
Anthony Muschiatti (Rahway, NJ) won the 50-free in 25.87 and placed second in the 100-free in 59.33.
Dougherty, Muschiatti, Hulsart and Butcher rounded out the meet with a second place finish in the 200-free relay with a time of 1:51.73.
FDU rounded out its dual meet schedule with a record of 3-3 and will next compete in three weeks in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship scheduled for February 10-13.
