Montclair, NJ (January 19) – The FDU-Florham men's swimming team dropped an 87-48 decision to Montclair State University this afternoon inside the Panzer Athletic Center.
James Dougherty (Kinnelon, NJ) posted a third place finish in the 1000-free in his first event on the day with a time of 11:20.70. Dougherty went on and posted the second fastest time in the 200-breast at 2:23.23 and closed his day by teaming up with
Anthony Muschiatti (Rahway, NJ),
Jack Hulsart (Old Bridge, NJ) and
James Butcher (West Orange, NJ) for a time of 3:46.72 in the 400-free relay.
Muschiatti was the runner up in the 50-free with a time of 23.71 and also posted a time of 52.91 in the 100-free, while Hulsart finished fourth in the 200-free in 2:01.01 and clocked a time of 2:22.01 in the 200-fly.
Butcher finished fourth in the 1000-free in 12:58.49 and also posted a time of 6:20.42 in the 500-free.
FDU will swim in its final dual meet of the 2021-22 season on Sunday, January 23 at Lebanon Valley College. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm.
