Madison, NJ (November 21) – The FDU-Florham men's swimming team topped Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) rival Stevenson University this afternoon by a score of 93-74.
During today's dual meet, the Devils honored seniors
James Butcher (West Orange, NJ) and
Anthony Muschiatti (Rahway, NJ) for their contributions towards the team. FDU closed its fall semester dual meet schedule with a 3-0 record after today's victory.
In their senior meets, Butcher placed second in both the 1000-free (13:55.59) and the 500-free (6:44.45), while Muschiatti individually won the 200-free (2:03.26), placed second in the 100-free (53.10) and teamed up with the 200-medley relay for a first place finish.

Jack Hulsart (Old Bridge, NJ),
James Dougherty (Kinnelon, NJ) and
Jacob Grusemeyer (Salem, NJ) won the opening event of the meet, the 200-medley relay, in a time of 1:49.36.
Hulsart went on to individually win the 1000-free in 12:55.73 and place second in the 100-back in 1:06.02, while Dougherty won both the 200-IM in 2:05.59 and the 100-breast in 1:03.10. Grusemeyer placed second in both the 200-free in 2:08.95 and the 100-fly in 1:00.56.
A-Izaiah Bryant (New Castle, Del.) had the best finish for the Devils in the 50-free with his second place time of 23.24, while Muschiatti finished as the runner up in the 100-free in 53.10.

Rocco De Gregorio (Haskell, NJ) and Butcher closed the meet with the second fastest time in the 200-free relay (1:53.03).
FDU will wrap up the first half of the year on December 3rd and 4th at the Drew University Invitational. A full schedule of events will be posted on fdudevils.com as the meet gets closer
