YORK, PA (February 15, 2020)- FDU Men's and Women's Swimming had another great day at the 2020 MAC Swimming Championships on Saturday, with six Devils reaching the finals. At the end of day three, Men's Swimming has a score of 256, sitting in ninth place and Women's Swimming finished with a team score of 292 and sit in 11th place.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Freshman
Emma Dougherty locked up a spot in the finals of the 100 backstroke and finished with a time of 1:03.59.
- Freshman
Sarah Dougherty reached the finals in the 100 backstroke, finishing with a time of 1:02.79.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior
Josh Atkins and freshman
Jack Hulsart both qualified for 100 backstroke finals, with Atkins swimming a time of 59.35 and Hulsart finishing with a time of 59.55.
- Freshman
Jimmy Dougherty reached the finals of the 100 breaststroke, racing a finals time of 1:01.56.
- Sophomore
Justin Atkins qualified for the 200 butterfly and finished in the finals with a time of 2:15.61.
