YORK, PA (February 14, 2020)- FDU Men's and Women's Swimming had a record breaking day on Friday at the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom tournament in York, PA. After day two, the men have a score of 181 and sit in 10th place, while the women finished with a score of 395 and are in ninth.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior
Molly Miller earned a berth in the 200 freestyle final and swam a time of 1:58.62.
- Freshman
Liz Briles locked up a spot in the finals of the 200 freestyle and finished with a time of 2:04.76.
- Freshman
Sarah Dougherty reached the finals in the 400 IM, finishing with a time of 4:52.75 and in seventh place.
- The 200 freestyle relay team of Miller, Briles, Dougherty and freshman
Emily Maciejewski, broke their school record with a time of 1:44.80.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior
Eric Bang broke the school record in the 400 IM with a time of 4:16.99, beating his previous record of 4:22.12
