Union, NJ (February 1, 2020)- The FDU Men's and Women's swimming programs came away victorious on Saturday afternoon, with both teams defeating Sarah Lawrence College. Men's swimming finished with a 114-105 victory while the Women finished with a 71-47 victory.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior Eric Bang finished the day winning the 500-yard freestyle (5:03.33) and 200-yard freestyle (2:13.84).
- Freshman Josh Atkins won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.76 and the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:02.58.
- Freshman Jimmy Dougherty won the 200-yard IM with a score of 2:17.63.
- The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Bang, Atkins, Dougherty and sophomore Anthony Muschiatti finished in first place with a time of 1:37.10.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Senior Molly Miller won two races on the afternoon, coming in first place in both the 200 (2:02.72) and 500 (5:30.60) freestyle. She also broke the school record in the 200 fly.Â
- Freshman Sarah Dougherty won the 200-yard IM with a score of 2:19.71.
- The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Miller, Dougherty, freshman Liz Brile and freshman Emily Maciejewski finished in first place with a time of 1:47.70.

Both men's and women's programs will begin preparation for the MAC Freedom Conference Championships which take place Thursday, February 13 through Sunday, February 16 in York, PA.
