Madison, NJ- FDU Baseball released their 2020 spring schedule headlined by four opponents ranked or receiving votes in the top-40 NCAA Division III baseball rankings. Those teams include Kean University (#5), Misericordia University (#27), DeSales University (received votes) and Keystone College (received votes). Ramapo College and US Merchant Marine Academy are also on the slate for FDU this season, both receiving top-7 Regional Rankings to finish the 2019 campaign.

The Devils open the season on February 22-23 taking on John Jay College Saturday in their season opener and #5 Kean on Sunday. FDU will conclude its February schedule with a doubleheader against Rutgers-Newark University on February 29.

From there, the Devils hit the warmer climate, traveling to Fort Myers, Florida from March 7-14 to play seven games in seven days. FDU has four non-conference games to start the trip, playing Lakeland College (DH), Plymouth State University and the US Coast Guard Academy before finishing the week with their first Middle Atlantic Freedom Conference set, 3-games against Stevens Institute of Technology. The Devils and Ducks will play a single game on March 13 and a doubleheader on March 14.  

Once FDU returns home, they will settle into a Tuesday, Wednesday non-conference schedule and a single game Friday, doubleheader Saturday conference schedule, with the exception of their Easter Weekend games against Wilkes University.

For non-conference away games, Devils baseball will play Merchant Marine, Montclair State University, SUNY Maritime College, Centenary University, Keystone and The College of Mount Saint Vincent. At home, FDU will take-on Ramapo, College of Saint Elizabeth, New Jersey City University, Drew University and former MAC Freedom participant, Manhattanville College.

The remainder of the MAC Freedom schedule for the Devils starts at home versus Delaware Valley University on Friday, March 20 and away at the Aggies Saturday, March 21. FDU will then take on DeSales March 27 (H) and March 28 (A), and King's College(PA) on April 3 (A) and 4 (H). FDU and Wilkes will play a Thursday, Friday schedule on April 9 and 10 because of the Easter Holiday break. The final two weeks of the Devils season finishes with the MAC Freedom defending champion, Misericordia on April 17 (H) and 18 (A) and Eastern University on the final weekend, April 24 (A) and 25 (H).

Here's what second-year Head Coach Jamie Quinn had to say about the upcoming 2020 season for the Devils, "We are looking forward to adding to the foundation that was built in 2019, mixed with our initial recruiting class and returners. The MAC Freedom conference is strong and has depth. That, along with the caliber of non-conference opponents we have slated, it should be a good test for the program in 2020".
