Box Score 2 DANBURY, Conn. (September 1, 2018) - The Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham volleyball team earned a 3-0 win over Lasell before falling to Emerson during day two of the Western Connecticut Invitational.
Box scores for each match will be posted when they are received.
The Devils finish the weekend 1-3, and will begin the home slate of their schedule Tuesday. FDU will welcome Mount St. Mary to campus for a 6 p.m. tilt.
FDU-FLORHAM 3, LASELL 0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-19)
In the Devils first win of the season, FDU was paced with 11 kills from senior
Lauren Harris and eight from classmate
Katie Quinlan. FDU controlled the ball well in serve-receive, committing just three reception errors. Freshman
Kacie Ros dished out 27 assists, while Quinlan totaled four solo blocks. Defensively, junior
Nathalia Padron chipped in eight digs as sophomore
Rebecca Morse notched seven.
EMERSON 3, FDU-FLORHAM 0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-17)
Harris and fellow senior
Marissa Lehnert combined for 14 kills in the setback against Emerson, with Ros handing out 26 helpers. Sophomore
Jessica Garreffa and Harris each recorded 14 digs, while Padron served up a pair of aces. Quinlan added two blocks in addition to her four from the first match.
