RESULTS

WAYNE, N.J. (October 21, 2017) - The FDU men's swimming team was topped by William Paterson 99-88 Saturday afternoon.

Junior Nicholas DiBenedetto won the 1,000 yard freestyle, turning in a time of 11:12.43. Teammate Zach Sykes was third in 11:55.83. Freshman Eric Bang and junior Bohdan Semak went 2-3 in the 200 free, as Bang was clipped by a mere .07 seconds from first.

DiBenedetto notched a second place time of 2:18.05 in the 200 yard IM, while 
Semak grabbed first in the 100 freestyle. Bang and Sykes went 1-2 in the 500-free as Bang clocked in at 5:07.85. The 200-freestyle relay squad of freshman Josh Atkins, Bang, DiBenedetto and Semak claimed first with a time of 1:36.08 to close out the day.

The Devils are back in action next Saturday, taking on Misericordia and Arcadia at 1 p.n.
