WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Fairleigh Dickinson University men's and women's team dropped both dropped a dual meet against King's College and Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa. on Saturday afternoon.
The men's team fell to Lycoming, 74-123 and lost to King's, 48-143 while the women's team dropped a 51-136 decision to Lycoming and fell to King's, 43-137.
Men's Swimming:
Freshman
Craig Bucsak earned his first career Middle Atlantic Conference time cut in the 100-backstroke with a third place finish of 1:04.02.
Sophomore
Bohdan Semak grabbed two second place marks, recording a time of 1:52.86 in the 200-yard freestyle and touching the wall at 51.22 in the 100-yard freestyle.
In the 100-yard freestyle, senior
Stephen O'Brien garnered a third place finish for the Devils with a time of 1:06.21.
Women's Swimming:
Sophomore
Mackenzie Doherty topped her competition with a first place performance in the 200-yard freestyle, clocking in at 2:06.68.
In the 100-yard butterfly, junior
Sarah Bennett represented the Devils with a second place time of 1:06.60. She returned in the 50-yard freestyle with a third place mark of 27.74 and grabbed fourth in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:00.21.
Junior
Samantha Irace took second in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 12:09.35. She took back second place once again in the 400-yard individual medley after swimming a time of 5:19.01.
