RESULTS

FREDERICK, Md. (November 5, 2016) - The FDU-Florham men and women's swim team fell in a quad meet to Widener, Hood and Messiah Saturday.

WOMEN'S RESULTS 
Samantha Irace notched a third place time of 11:44.02 in the 1,000 yard freestyle, while Mackenzie Doherty hit an "A" cut Middle Atlantic Conference Qualifying time of 2:09.19 in the 200 yard freestyle. Sarah Bennett also hit a qualifying mark of 26.9 in the 50-freestyle.

Bennett notched her second MAC qualifying time of the day in the 100-free, setting a mark of 58.69, with Irace joining the trio in qualifying with a time of 5:47.51, good for sixth place.

MEN'S RESULTS
Boghan Semak tallied a fourth place finish in 200 yard freestyle, recording a MAC qualifying time of 1:54.31. Connor Zero also picked up a MAC time of 24.02, hitting time by .42 seconds. With a mark of 59.98, Nick DiBenedetto joined Zero and Semak in setting a MAC standard, his coming in the 100 yard butterfly. Semak registered his MAC time of the day with a 50.67 time in the 100-free. Stephen O'Brien was the final qualifier, turning in a 100-yard breaststroke time of 1:04.14.

The Devils will be back in action in two weeks, taking on Drew and Elizabethtown.
