Grantham, Pa. – The FDU-Florham men's swim team was defeated by Messiah College (34-161), Hood College (26-169) and Widener University (39-148) in a quad match on Saturday afternoon in Grantham, Pa.
Bohdan Semak placed eighth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.33 before posting a seventh place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (52.92). The freshman swimmer finished the day by posting the best time for FDU-Florham in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 23.66.
Senior David Warren opened up the day with a strong showing in the 200-yard medley relay, where he finished with the top time for FDU-Florham (24.90). He then went on to finish the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.13, which was good for eighth place. Warren's final race of the day was the 100-yard breaststroke and he placed ninth with a time of 1:09.03.
Junior Stephen O'Brien pieced together a seventh place finish in the 100-yard individual medley before going on to an eighth place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke.
The Devils will return to the pool when they travel to Elizabethtown, Pa. on Saturday, November 21, for a showdown with Elizabethtown College at 1 p.m.
