MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham men's swim team dropped its home opener to William Paterson University (1-0) 110-80 at the Ferguson Recreation Center on Friday evening.

FDU-Florham (0-4) freshman Bohdan Semak earned his first collegiate victory by hitting the wall in 51:35 in the 100-yard freestyle even.

Fellow freshman Nicholas DiBenedetto clocked in at 5:27:13 in the 500-yard freestyle and claimed that race.

The Devils also took the top spot in the men's 200-yard medley as the quad of Kevin Andres, Justin Cole, Stephen O'Brien and Alexiy Stolyarov finished the relay in 1:50.91.

FDU-Florham returns to action when they host Wilkes University this Wednesday, October 28 at 4 p.m.
