SCRANTON, Pa. – The FDU-Florham men's swim team fell to the University of Scranton 98-24 and then 44-78 to Cabrini College on Saturday afternoon in Scranton, Pa.

Freshman Alexiy Stolyarov was strong in the water, placing third in the 200-yard butterfly (2:23.65) and second in the 100-yard butterfly (58:07).

Fellow freshman, Nick DiBenedetto also had a good showing with a pair of third place finishes in the 1000-yard freestyle and in the 500-yard freestyle. In the 1000-yard freestyle, he posted a time of 11:48.63 and in the 500-yard free, he finished with a time of 5:41.87.

Junior Stephen O'Brien placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.22 and he just narrowly edged out teammate David Warren, who placed fourth with his time of 1:09.78.

The Devils will welcome the Pioneers of William Paterson University for a meet on Friday, October 23 at 6 p.m.
