Box Score POMONA, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by Richard Stockton, 8-3, in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 4-6 while the Ospreys improved to 10-7.

Stockton jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning before FDU cut it to 4-2 in the top of the fourth thanks to a two-run single from junior second baseman John Bowe.  The Ospreys got those runs right back in the bottom of the fourth though, as they grabbed a 6-2 advantage but the Devils cut it to 6-3 in the top of the fifth on RBI double by junior third baseman Frank LaGuarina.  Stockton added two insurance runs in the bottom of the seventh on their way to the 8-3 victory.

Junior designated hitter Nick Meoli finished the game 3-for-4 with a run scored while LaGuarina and senior outfielder Nick Core each went 2-for-5.  Sophomore pitcher Bobby Bray suffered the loss, tossing an inning and allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits.

The Devils return to action on Friday, March 22, 2013, with their home opener against Eastern beginning at 3:30 pm.
