NEWBURGH, NY - The College at Florham Devils men's and women's swim teams were defeated by Mount Saint Mary's on Wednesday afternoon. The men were knocked off by a score of 102-82 while the women were defeated by a count of 112-66.
With the losses, the men are now 0-11 while the women stand at 0-12.
MEN - Junior
Corey Esposito placed second in the 1,000 free (12:54.81) and third in the 100 fly (1:11.00) while sophomore
David Warren took first in the 100 breast (1:10.96). Junior
David Padilla came in second in the 200 IM (2:24.46), freshman
Dave Nadler finished second in the 100 free (56.23), freshman
Kevin Andrews took second in the 100 back (1:02.66), and junior
Harry Givas placed third in the 500 free (6:26.82).
WOMEN - Sophomore
Lauren Socienski finished first in the 100 free (59.19) and second in the 200 free (2:10.97). Senior
Genevieve Pilat came in second in the 100 back (1:16.36) while freshman
Alex Durante placed second in the 50 free (30.38).
The Devils return to action on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at home against Lebanon Valley for their regular season finale beginning at 11 am.
