WILKES-BARRE, PA - The College at Florham Devils men's and women's swim team competed against King's and Lycoming on Sunday afternoon. The men were defeated by King's, 157-61, and Lycoming, 189-47, while the women were knocked off by King's, 185-47, and Lycoming, 191-38.
With the losses, the men are now 0-10 while the women are 0-11.
WOMEN - Sophomore
Lauren Socienski led the way for the women, coming in second in the 100 back (1:09.62), fourth in the 50 free (27.70), and fourth in the 100 free (1:02.46). Freshman
Margarita Yarleque finished fourth in the 1,000 free (13:24.78), sophomore
Ashley Carpenter placed fifth in the 100 breast (1:31.86).
MEN - Freshman
Kevin Andrews paced the men as he finished third in the 200 back (2:18.81) and fourth in the 100 back (1:03.95). Sophomore
David Warren came in third in the 200 breast (2:37.63) and fifth in the 100 breast (1:09.64). Junior
David Padilla placed fifth in the 200 free (2:10.68), and freshman
Dave Nadler finished fifth in the 100 free (55.77).
The Devils return to action on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Mount Saint Mary's beginning at 4 pm.
