Delaware Valley got going right away, scoring two runs in the top of the first inning before making it 3-0 in the top of the sixth.  The FDU bats were quiet all game until the bottom of the eighth when the Devils tied it at 3-3 on a sacrifice fly by senior shortstop Steve Seminerio, a RBI groundout from sophomore second baseman Brandan Adams, and a Delaware Valley error.  Senior pitcher Mike Winters came on in the top of the ninth and pitched two scoreless innings, allowing the Devils to go for the win in the bottom of the tenth.  Freshman outfielder Frankie Tassielli led of the inning with a single and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Seminerio.  He then moved to third on a groundout by Adams and scored the game-winner on a wild pitch to give the Devils the 4-3 victory.
