Box Score LAPLUME, PA - The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by Misericordia, 4-0, in Freedom Conference action on Sunday afternoon.  Game Two of the scheduled doubleheader was postponed due to rain, no make-up date has been announced.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 9-10 (5-3 Freedom) while the Cougars improved to 20-3 (7-1 Freedom).

Misericordia got on the board with a run in the bottom of the first inning before adding three more in the fifth to make it 4-0.  The Cougar pitching allowed only four FDU hits in the game.

Junior outfielder Nick Core went 2-for-3 while senior outfielder Matt Joiner and senior first baseman Ryan Fandel each had a hit.  Senior pitcher Glenn Cox suffered the loss, tossing six innings while allowing four runs on six hits.

The Devils return to action on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at home against Baruch beginning at 3:30 pm.
