MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils men's and women's swim teams were defeated by Elizabethtown on Saturday afternoon. The men's team fell by a score of 127-66 while the women were knocked off by a count of 155-47.
With the losses, each team dropped to 0-6 on the season.
MEN - Sophomore
David Warren led the way for FDU by winning the 100 breast (1:11.48) and placing third in the 200 IM (2:26.87). Junior
Corey Esposito placed second in both the 1,000 free (13:17.39) and the 500 free (6:30.62) while junior
David Padilla finished second in the 100 back (1:05.07) and third in the 200 free (2:12.66). Freshman
Kevin Andrews placed third in the 100 fly (1:06.94) and junior
Harry Givas took third in the 100 free (1:02.86).
WOMEN - Freshman
Margarita Yarleque came in second in the 1,000 free (13:47.91) and third in the 500 free (6:42.59) while sophomore
Lauren Socienski placed second in the 100 free (1:00.84) and third in the 200 free (2:17.34). Sophomore
Mariane Herte took third in both the 200 IM (2:40.13) and the 100 breast (1:27.38) and sophomore
Piper Jones finished second in the 100 fly (1:11.01).
The Devils return to action on Friday, November 30, 2012, in the Rose City Invitational against Drew and St. Elizabeth's at Drew beginning at 4:00 pm.
