GRANTHAM, PA - The College at Florham Devils men's and women's swim team swam at the Messiah Invitational on Saturday afternoon against Messiah, Hood, and Widener.  The men were defeated by Hood, 200-34, Messiah, 214-31, and Widener, 158-48, while the women fell to Hood, 192-39, Messiah, 219-25, and Widener, 217-27.

With the defeats, each team is 0-5 on the season.

MEN - Junior David Padilla came in fifth in the 100 back (1:06.64) and ninth in the 100 fly (1:05.33) while freshman Kevin Andrews placed seventh in the 50 back (31.58) and seventh in the 100 back (1:06.74).  Sophomore David Warren placed seventh in the 100 breast (1:11.92), junior Harry Givas finished eighth in the 50 free (28.59)

WOMEN - Sophomore Piper Jones led the women by placing sixth in the 50 fly (31.45) and ninth in the 100 fly (1:12.77).

The Devils return to action on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at home against Elizabethtown beginning at 1 pm.
