MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils men's and women's swim teams were defeated by Mount Saint Mary on Tuesday evening. The men lost by a score of 98-73 while the women fell by a count of 124-76.
With the losses, the men are now 2-11 while the women stand at 2-13.
MEN - Freshman
Jon Scott won the 1,000 free (11:47.30) and placed second in the 100 fly (1:07.96) while sophomore
David Padilla took the 100 back (1:05.23) and came in second in the 200 IM (2:21.78). Sophomore
David Warren won the 100 breast (1:12.01) and finished second in the 200 free (2:12.45). Sophomore
Beau Collins placed second in the 50 free (27.01) and sophomore
Corey Esposito came in second in the 500 free (6:09.82).
WOMEN - Senior
Luci DiMaggio placed first in the 1,000 free (12:08.97) and second in the 100 breast (1:21.01) while freshman
Lauren Socienski took first in the 100 free (58.29) and second in the 50 free (26.67). Freshman
Mariane Herte finished first in the 100 back (1:11.30) and second in the 200 IM (2:34.60). Senior
Elisabeth Hilzen placed second in the 500 free (6:28.47) and junior
Genevieve Pilat took third in the 100 fly (1:25.10).
The Devils return to action on Friday, February 10, 2012, at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships in Wilkes-Barre, PA, beginning at 4 pm.
