ANNVILLE, PA - The College at Florham Devils men's and women's swim teams were defeated by Lebanon Valley on Saturday afternoon. The women fell by a score of 115-76 while the men were downed by a count of 119-64.
With the losses, the women are now 2-12 while the men are 2-10.
WOMEN - Freshman
Lauren Socienski paced the women by finishing first in the 50 free (29.33) and second in the 100 back (1:14.23) while senior
Luci DiMaggio placed second in both the 200 free (2:31.22) and the 400 free (5:04.35). Senior
Melanie Allen finished second in the 100 fly (1:16.00), senior
Caroline Malia took third in the 800 free (11:24.46) and freshman
Mariane Herte placed third in the 200 IM (2:55.23).
MEN - Freshman
Jon Scott had two first place finishes, taking first in the 200 free (2:17.93) and the 400 free (4:49.62) while freshman
David Warren placed first in the 100 breast (1:19.19) and second in the 50 free (27.72). Sophomore
David Padilla took first in the 200 IM (2:38.24) and third in the 100 fly (1:13.95). Sophomore
Corey Esposito placed second in the 800 free (11:26.50) while sophomore
Beau Collins took second in the 100 free (1:08.56).
The Devils return to action on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at home against Post and Mt. St. Mary's beginning at 6 pm.
