MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils men's and women's swim teams were defeated by William Paterson on Tuesday evening. The women lost by a score of 101-84 while the men were downed by a count of 92-75.
With the losses, the women are now 2-7 while the men are 1-6.
WOMEN - Freshman
Lauren Socienski led the way for the ladies by finishing first in the 50 free (26.58) and first in the 100 free (57.61). Senior
Carolina Malia placed third in the 1,000 free (13:20.01), senior
Luci DiMaggio came in third in the 200 IM (2:39.25), senior
Melanie Allen finished third in the 100 fly (1:08.89) and junior
Genevieve Pilat took third in the 100 back (1:25.13).
MEN - Freshman
Jon Scott came in third place in the 200 IM (2:25.66), sophomore
Corey Esposito placed fourth in the 1,000 free (13:46.56), sophomore
David Padilla finished fourth in the 100 fly (1:06.46), sophomore
Harry Givas took fourth in the 200 free (2:30.21) and freshman
Matt Cecere came in fourth in the 50 free (25.99).
The Devils return to action on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at home against Sarah Lawrence beginning at noon.
