MADISON, NJ - Senior designated hitter Greg Geran (Brick, NJ/Red Bank Catholic) went 3-for-6 with two runs scored and six RBI while senior outfielder Steve Gonzalez (Teaneck, NJ/Teaneck) was 2-for-5 with a grand slam home run, two runs scored and five RBI to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 20-4 win over cross-town rival Drew in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.

With the win, the Devils improved to 29-8.

After Drew got on the board with one run in the top of the first inning, the Devils came back with four runs in the bottom of the first before blowing the game open with eight runs in the bottom of the third to take a 12-1 lead.  The Rangers pulled to within 13-4 after six innings but FDU tacked on six more runs in the seventh to really put things out of reach.

Senior outfielder Mike Zangrillo (Raritan, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) finished 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI while senior third baseman Joey Santillo (Budd Lake, NJ/Mt. Olive) went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI.  Senior second baseman James Vafiadou (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) smacked a two-run triple and junior catcher Joe Meglio (Staten Island, NY/Moore Catholic) clubbed a home run.

Senior pitcher Dan Sharp (Hammonton, NJ/Hammonton) made the start and allowed one run on three hits in 2.1 innings.  Senior pitcher Dan Gallagher (Brick, NJ/Brick Township) came on in relief to pick up the win, tossing two innings and allowing one run on three hits.  Senior pitchers Adam Garry (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Boro) and Bill Buckless (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) each tossed a scoreless inning.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, in the Freedom Conference Tournament when second-seeded FDU plays host to third-seeded Manhattanville beginning at 3:30 pm.
