MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils men's and women's swim teams were knocked off by Messiah on Saturday afternoon. The women lost by a score of 110.50-86.50 while the men fell by a count of 128-58.
With the losses, the women dropped to 4-8 while the men now stand at 2-7.
WOMEN - Sophomores
Luci DiMaggio (Allenhurst, NJ/Ocean) and
Wendy Ferriero (Denville, NJ/Morris Knolls) each had two first place finishes for the ladies. DiMaggio won the 1,000 free in a time of 12:13.12 and the 500 free with a time of 6:02.69 while Ferriero took the 200 free (2:12.24) and the 100 free (1:00.58). Junior
Melanie Allen (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) won the 200 fly (2:42.03).
MEN - Senior
Peter Milazzo (Audubon, NJ/Audubon) won the 500 free (5:05.61) and the 400 IM (4:34.65) while junior
Nolan Doyle (Aberdeen, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy) took the 1,000 free (12:05.23).
The Devils return to action on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at Lycoming with King's beginning at 6 pm.
