GLENSIDE, PA - The College at Florham Devils men's swim team earned their first victory of the season, 91-82, over Arcadia on Wednesday evening. The women's team fell to the Knights by a score of 107-96.
With the win, the men improved to 1-2 while the women dropped to 1-3.
MEN - Senior
Peter Milazzo (Audubon, NJ/Audubon) won the 200 IM in a time of 2:12.75 and the 500 free in a time of 5:17.78. Junior
Nolan Doyle (Aberdeen, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy) took the 200 free (2:03.33) and 100 back (1:05.19) while sophomore
Daniel Herskowitz (Pomona, NY/North Rockland) won the 1,000 free (11:50.47).
WOMEN - Sophomore
Luci DiMaggio (Allenhurst, NJ/Ocean) led the women by winning the 1,000 free with a time of 12:17.25 and the 100 breast in a time of 1:16.36). Sophomore
Wendy Ferriero (Denville, NJ/Morris Knolls) took the 200 free (2:11.53), junior
Melanie Allen (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) won the 100 fly (1:09.53) and junior
Elisabeth Hilzen (Glen Rock, NJ/Glen Rock) won the 500 free (6:20.67).
The Devils return to action on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at home against Widener beginning at 1 pm.
