MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils men's and women's swim teams were defeated by Widener on Saturday afternoon. The women lost by a score of 124-72 while the men fell by a count of 135-43.
With the losses, the men are now 1-3 while the women stand at 1-4.
WOMEN - Sophomore
Wendy Ferriero (Denville, NJ/Morris Knolls) won the 200 free in a time of 2:13.26 while placing second in the 100 free with a time of 1:00.58. Junior
Elisabeth Hilzen (Glen Rock, NJ/Glen Rock) took the 100 brest (1:21.76), sophomore
Luci DiMaggio (Allenhurst, NJ/Ocean) placed second in the 1,000 free (11:57.99) and the 500 free (5:57.13), and junior
Melanie Allen (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) was second in the 100 fly (1:10.69).
MEN - Senior
Peter Milazzo (Audubon, NJ/Audubon) won the 1,000 free in a time of 10:46.50 while junior
Nolan Doyle (Aberdeen, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy) took the 100 breast with a time of 1:12.72.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, November 21, 2009, at Elizabethtown beginning at 1 pm.
