FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The FDU-Florham men's lacrosse team dropped its first game back in the northeast Tuesday night as the Devils fell to Farmingdale State 12-4 on the road. 
 
DEVILS HIGHLIGHTS

• Christopher Scheublin tallied two goals and two points with three ground balls and four caused turnovers. 
• Anthony DiGiacomo and Justin Perillo scored one goal each. 
• Patrick Kenny recorded two caused turnovers. 
• Goalkeeper Anthony Pieroni made 11 saves on the night. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• FDU found itself down 3-0 with 6:55 left to play in the first period, but Scheublin's first goal of the day cut the deficit to 3-1. 
• The Rams scored twice more to end the first period with a 5-1 lead, but soon after tacked on four more unanswered goals and the Devils trailed 9-1 at the break. 
• In the third, after a fifth consecutive Rams goal, DiGiacomo netted a man-up goal for the Devils for his 14^th of the season, making it a 10-2 contest. 
• Later in the third period, after goals 11 and 12 for Farmingdale, Scheublin scored his second goal of the night to make it a 12-3 game headed to the fourth period. 
• Perillo found the back of the Rams net on an assist from Kenny for his 15^th goal of the year and FDU's fourth of the night, but that was all the FDU offense could muster as the Devils fell 12-4. 

GAME NOTES

• Tuesday's game was Perillo's fifth straight game with at least one goal. 
• This was Pieroni's fifth game this season with 10 or more saves.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, April 1 as FDU hosts Misericordia for their MAC Freedom opener. First face-off is set for 7 p.m.
