SWANANNOA, N.C. – Christopher Sheublin set a new single-game record for goals scored as the sophomore midfielder tallied 11 in FDU-Florham's 24-6 drubbing of Warren Wilson College on Saturday, March 21 on the road. 

DEVILS HIGHLIGHTS

• Scheublin's line included 11 points with 20 shots and 17 shots on frame along with three ground balls and one caused turnover. 
• Justin Perillo recorded 12 points on two goals and 10 assists. 
• Anthony DiGiacomo finished with seven points on three goals and four assists. 
• Vito Trapani netted four goals for four points on the day. 
• Luke Hall and Jake Lukko each scored one goal. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Devils got on the board first just 3:00 into the contest as Scheublin netted his first of 11 on the day on an assist from Joseph Carbo. 
• DiGiacomo followed up with his first of the day to make it 2-0. 
• After goals from Hall and Scheublin, Warren Wilson called a timeout, and it was 4-0 Devils with 6:28 to play in the first period. 
• By period's end, FDU commanded a 9-0 lead after Scheublin scored his fourth of the period on a man-up opportunity off an assist from DiGiacomo. 
• In the second, a Trapani goal made it a 10-0 contest on an assist from Perillo, but the Owls responded with their first goal of the day from Jayshawn Bruce. 
• After Scheublin netted FDU's 11^th goal, the Owls found the back of the FDU goal for a second time on a shot from Ethan Damm to cut it to an 11-2 game. 
• By the half, FDU led 16-4. 
• In the third, Shcublin netted back-to-back goals to make it 18-4 followed by another Trapani goal to make it 19-4 in favor of the Devils. 
• Warren Wilson scored its fifth goal with 3:00 to play in the period cutting the deficit to 19-5. 
• The Owls quickly scored goal number six in the fourth as Bruce netted another just 12 seconds into the final period. 
• Scheublin scored thrice more in the final period to cap off his 11-goal day and propel FDU to the 24-6 victory. 

GAME NOTES

• Scheublin's 20 shots ties the program record and his 17 shots on goal sets a new single-game record. 
• As a team the Devils' 47 shots on goal were one shy of tying the single-game record of 48 set back on April 4, 2025, against Cairn. 
• This is the third time this season FDU has defeated an opponent by 10 or more goals. 

UP NEXT

• The Devils return to action on Tuesday, March 24 as FDU closes out its non-conference schedule with a bout against Farmingdale State on the road. First face-off is set for 7 p.m.
