MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham men's lacrosse team dropped a Saturday afternoon contest to Alvernia University 13-6 at home. 
 
DEVILS HIGHLIGHTS

• Christopher Sheublin led the Devils' offense with two goals and three points on the day as he added an assist to his ledger. 
• Four other Devils added goals as Vito Trapani, Luke Dugan, Justin Perillo, and Anthony DiGiacomo all scored in the loss. 
• DiGiacomo, Dugan and Perillo all added assists. 
• Goalkeeper Anthony Pieroni recorded 10 saves on the afternoon. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• FDU began the day with a man-up goal from Perillo followed by an Alvernia goal from Charles Oberman to knot the game at 1-1. DiGiacomo answered with his only goal of the day to make it a 2-1 Devils lead. 
• Before the break, the Golden Wolves scored five unanswered goals to take a 6-2 lead by halftime. 
• In the third, Alvernia scored its sixth unanswered goal before Trapani scored FDU's third goal to make it a 7-3 contest. 
• The Golden Wolves finished the third with three straight goals and took a 10-3 lead into the fourth period. 
• In the fourth, Scheublin netted a man-up goal to make it a 12:4 contest with 5:25 remaining in regulation. 
• Down 13-5 with 1:13 left, Dugan scored the Devils' sixth goal of the day. 

GAME NOTES 

• This was Pieroni's fourth contest with 10 or more saves this season. 
• Saturday's game was Scheublin's second game of the year with two or more goals.
