READING, Pa.– The FDU indoor track and field team competed in their final day of the MAC Indoor Championships at Alvernia University, highlighted by
Bianca Burke's first place finish on Saturday morning.
Devils Highlights
- To kick off the day, senior Bianca Burke placed first in the 400m final and broke her own record for the school. Finishing with a final time of 58.79, she improved her personal and school record by .10 seconds and earned 10 points for her team. Burke continued to break records as she finished second in the 200m final and earned her team an additional eight points. She finished with a record-breaking time of 26.44, which was .28 seconds faster than her previous record time of 26.72.
- In the field events, sophomore Meghan Kreinberg placed sixth in the shot put event with a final distance of 11.22 meters. With her podium finish, Kreinberg earned three points for the Devils. In the Pentathlon shot put event, Kreinberg finds success once again as she placed second with a final distance of 10.57 meters. Rounding out the day, senior Tytus Toliver found success for the Devils by finishing his shot put event with a final distance of 12.02 meters.
How it Happened
- Overall, the Devils had three podium finishes, with Burke providing the only first place finish of the MAC Indoor Championships.
- With Burke's first place finish in the 400m final, she earned first-team all-MAC honors.
